Description
The ginkgo tree has existed for around 270 million years – and it has been used as a medicinal plant for almost 5,000 years. Ginkgo extracts are primarily used to support cognitive performance, including for concentration disorders and mild memory impairment. Many studies suggest that specific active ingredients in ginkgo, namely ginkgolides and bilobalides from the ginkgo leaf, can protect the cell membrane from free radicals. It is even suggested that bilobalides may be able to restore damaged brain cell function. This leads to improved memory performance and increased concentration. Dr. Oldhaver's Ginkgo Biloba capsules also contain B vitamins B1, B2, B6, and B12, which contribute to the normal function of the nervous system.
Another important property of ginkgo biloba extract is its influence on blood flow. Ginkgo helps improve blood circulation. In cases of narrowed blood vessels, sufficient blood circulation is no longer guaranteed, especially in smaller vessels. Here, Ginkgo Biloba provides support in combination with B vitamins B2 and B6, which contribute to the maintenance of normal red blood cells, Vitamin C, which ensures the normal function of blood vessels through normal collagen formation, and folic acid, which supports normal blood formation. Since good microcirculation is particularly important in the fine vessels of the inner ear, skin, and hair, we also recommend this combination for tinnitus, ear noises, dizziness, and to promote blood circulation in the skin and hair follicles.
