Krill oil capsules

Antarctic krill is a type of crustacean that lives in large swarms in the waters surrounding Antarctica. The krill oil in Dr. Oldhaver's krill oil capsules is extracted exclusively from Euphausia superba, as this species is particularly rich in omega-3 fatty acids. This is because krill feed almost exclusively on microalgae, which are the primary source of omega-3 fatty acids.

These microalgae also contain the powerful antioxidant astaxanthin, which is responsible for the red color of the capsules. Why krill oil?
